FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Understanding Our Products
Q - I’ve heard that marble is really weak and is easily scratched is this true?
A - Yes and no. Not all marbles are of equal composition. It is still incredibly durable if used in the right applications. Honed finish marble can show little wear and tear in kitchens and bathroom applications. Polished marble is more susceptible to scratching. Marble wall cladding is a popular usage too. Our inventory is abundant with marbles that are infused with more crystalline, quartz-like minerals that can withstand many applications.

Q - How do I protect my marble and granite once it’s installed?

A - Classic Stone Gallery applies a 10 year Dry Treat sealer at every install, making every countertop virtually "maintenance free." Sealer is a oil and water repellant penetrating chemical compound that is applied to all surfaces of the stone where water and oil may come in contact with it. Sealer creates a hydrophobic barrier that repels water and oil ensuring that neither seeps into the rock surface. Most fabricators offer sealers that should be applied yearly.
Q- What’s your turn around time?

A - We pride ourselves on a faster lead time than any other major competitor. We template the same day, or next day once you select your material, ensuring the quickest possible turn-around time.

No waiting around for someone to get back to you days after you’ve come in to look at slabs. We can template immediately. Once a 50% deposit is received, your job is typically fabricated and installed in 2 weeks or less.
